The museum\u2019s displays include pottery, sculptures, inscriptions, coins, jewellery, mosaics, and other archaeological finds that illustrate the development of communities in central Syria over thousands of years. The collections also provide a valuable connection with important archaeological sites of the region, including <strong>Qatna (Tell Mishrifeh)<\/strong>, one of the major Bronze Age kingdoms of ancient Syria.
